Fashion Target: 4 Years of Missing You

Well my friends, it's been four, very long years since my wonderful, beautiful Mother has been gone. I miss her more that I can ever explain, but I feel as though I can only do one thing, and that is remember the good times everyday as much as I can.

My most favorite accessory that I have aand cherish is my teardrop necklace. This lovely necklace actually holds the ashes of my mom so she gets to be with me, next to my heart, every day. I've found a few images through the past year of me wearing this.

Although these are only a couple of pictures, I actually wear this almost every other day. I may never have her back, but at least I can be close to her :)

Daily Fashion Show: Garden Girl

True to my roots, I love wearing floral-printed anything. Seriously love this dress, it's so light and airy, perfect for if the weather decides to warm up on a regular basis!

This belt is the perfect touch. I love the little bow applique on the front and that is made of straw. It's both girlie and fun, exactly like me!

Love our newly painted banister on our balcony? Haha, they missed some spots :)

Daily Fashion Show: Free as a Bird

So I must really like birds this week, maybe because it's Spring, or maybe because it's elegant. Not sure why, but I am seriously loving all of the bird printed things I've been seeing lately.

I saw this top at Anthropologie and just melted. The one thing I've learned about that store is if you see something that you like, you have to buy it. Otherwise, it will be gone and won't go on clearance. I'm telling the truth here!

Look how great this top is up close. I loved the print, but what sold me was the beading on a few of the birds. How seriously sweet is that?

Now, it may be Spring, but I seriously can't wait until Summer carries me away. Maybe one of these birds will!

Daily Fashion Show: Gorg in Orange

Who says nothing rhymes with orange? I say gorg does and that's cause I am today. I chose to pair my bright coral-colored dress with a butterfly printed scarf (worn as a head wrap) and bright purple socks.

I also thought wearing a white cardigan would brighten up this ensemble even more. Even though the weather hasn't been holding up, it doesn't mean I can't dress the part!

Someone at work today told me that I looked like Lucille Ball. She said "I hope you don't take offense to it." My reply was "hell no, Lucy is hot!" When I thought about it, we acutally have a ton in common. We are both red heads, we both tend to wear clothes from the 50's, and the best part, we both have Latino lovers. Hehe! Hope you all had a great start to the week!

Welcome to planet vintage!!! Ok, so the top is not (actually it's a dress I covered up with a skirt), but the skirt is. Love the combination of anything old and new and this combo just seemed to do it flawlessly.

I love the combination of the thicker rocker boots and dainty jewelry. Gives the ensemble a little bit of a an attitude.

Weekly Secret Weapon: Tatted Up

Ever want to get a tattoo but too scared to try? Why not fake it? I'm not talking about fake tattoos that you are thinking about, you know, the ones you wore a kid that were hearts and happy faces. This is the "real" stuff....

I came across these tattoo sleeve armwarmers at work actually and wondered if it was something already out there at retail. It is! There are several places you can get these from to get the affect of having a real tattoo sleeve. Here are a few sites I found them at:

It's super fun and will definitely make your friends, family, and co-workers take a second look at you. So never fear, you don't have to spend thousands (of dollars, hours, and pain) to get the look of a sleeve, you can fake it!

Daily Fashion Show: Return of the Floral Queen

Hello fellow fashionistas! I'm back! Took a much needed break from the blog for two reasons. 1. being work and 2. the main reason, was due to needing a new computer. I was working off of my old laptop I had from college and it finally kicked the bucket. So, I decided to go out there any buy myself a fancy new Macbook. Can't say that it's been an easy transition, but I'm looking forward to giving you all the best I can now on Fashion Ammo!

Though this ensemble does not scream florals, I added in my little touch of it with my belt. I also love the scroll detail of this necklace. Gives it a little feminine edge against the bold stripes and tough boots I'm wearing.

Thought the yellow was a great way to bring in the sunshine today. The variation of stripes was also super fun.

Hope you all enjoyed the enhanced and edited photos today (c/o my fancy new computer). New additions to come!
