Daily Fashion Show: Garden Girl

True to my roots, I love wearing floral-printed anything. Seriously love this dress, it's so light and airy, perfect for if the weather decides to warm up on a regular basis!

This belt is the perfect touch. I love the little bow applique on the front and that is made of straw. It's both girlie and fun, exactly like me!

Love our newly painted banister on our balcony? Haha, they missed some spots :)

Daily Fashion Show: Free as a Bird

So I must really like birds this week, maybe because it's Spring, or maybe because it's elegant. Not sure why, but I am seriously loving all of the bird printed things I've been seeing lately.

I saw this top at Anthropologie and just melted. The one thing I've learned about that store is if you see something that you like, you have to buy it. Otherwise, it will be gone and won't go on clearance. I'm telling the truth here!

Look how great this top is up close. I loved the print, but what sold me was the beading on a few of the birds. How seriously sweet is that?

Now, it may be Spring, but I seriously can't wait until Summer carries me away. Maybe one of these birds will!

Daily Fashion Show: Gorg in Orange

Who says nothing rhymes with orange? I say gorg does and that's cause I am today. I chose to pair my bright coral-colored dress with a butterfly printed scarf (worn as a head wrap) and bright purple socks.

I also thought wearing a white cardigan would brighten up this ensemble even more. Even though the weather hasn't been holding up, it doesn't mean I can't dress the part!

Someone at work today told me that I looked like Lucille Ball. She said "I hope you don't take offense to it." My reply was "hell no, Lucy is hot!" When I thought about it, we acutally have a ton in common. We are both red heads, we both tend to wear clothes from the 50's, and the best part, we both have Latino lovers. Hehe! Hope you all had a great start to the week!

Daily Fashion Show: Red Lady

Felt super sassy today in with my skinny pants, scarf, curly q's and red lips. I'm really starting to like this red lipstick. I was always kind of scared of lipstick and I was constantly checking if I had it on my face or teeth, but I think the more I wear it, the better I'll feel.

I've been seeing a lot more scarves lately tied up like bows or flowers, so I thought I'd give it whirl, in my own way of course. Nothing really seems to match this scarf, so I decided to clash it was a navy silk top and my red lips to tie it all together.

I love skinny belts lately. They are great with dresses and especially for cinching in your waist like I've done here. The best part about it, is that it matched my shoes perfectly. Wee! Love when that happens.

For some reason, my hair was ultra-curly today. It's strange, I do my hair the same everyday. Some days it looks like garbage, and others it looks amazing. Weird. I blame it on the weather....hope you all had a FAB weekend, I know I'm totally ready for April!
