Just Think Spring

Decided to spring things up today and wear a couple of pastels and florals. Although it was sunny here in IL today, there are still mounds of snow covering the ground so my ensemble's color palette helped brighten my day. Most of the items worn today are new or gifts received for my birthday!

Shirt: Banana Republic
Cardigan: Urban Outfitters
Gray Jeans: The Gap
Rosette Belt: JCrew
Shoes: For Love 21
Necklace: Etsy

I absolutely fell in love with this floral belt. Not only are the colors bright and spring-y, but it is also very versatile. This can be worn as a belt, necklace, and even a headband! More styling to come of this :)

The cardigan is so beautiful from the back with the crochet cutout.

The necklace worn was a gift from my sister for my birthday purchased from Etsy. The colors are so beautiful and I love the shell detail. Click on the word "Etsy" for the maker's page.

New shoes from For Love 21. They have a blue/black quality that can go with any outfit.

Work out, Look out!

I love working out, and why not look hot doing it? Victoria's Secret Pink launched a workout line that is so cute. I have 4 pairs of the yoga pants, 2 in capri length and 2 in pant length for whichever activity I decide to do. Also, their sweatshirts are light and airy and not to mention, have adorable prints. Their slogan on the pants is "work out, look hot," and you know what? I do!

Rainbow Bright

Decided to brighten up this gloomy day (yes, it snowed...again!!!) with a bright blue tank from Express and my new rainbow beaded necklace from Francesca's Collection I got for my birthday.

Busted out the gold tights again...why not. It's still snow-covered outside and it adds a little more glitz!

Time to go!

Black Week

Decided to have a black week. Monday's outfit was a fluke actually as I wanted to wear my new dress and tights. But as the week went on, it just got easier to stick to one color scheme and go to the black section in my closet. Here are a few more highlights from the week.

Pow! New elephant ring from For Love.

Hair jewelry..why not have a little glitz everywhere?

Scarf worn as shirt.

Sassy Black

I decided to start back up with my blog today with a little bit of sass. Got this dress at H&M and paired it with floral patterned tights from Urban Outfitters. Also added a bit of natural sass today with my crazy Carrie Bradshaw hair. I used to hate it, but I'm actually starting to embrace it (and rhyme it!).

MIA in China

Hello Fashion Ammo readers! I know I have been MIA these past couple of weeks, but I have been extremely busy. I was in Asia for two weeks in January for work and it has taken me until now to get back to the routine of things. Asia was amazing. TONS of hard work, but a really amazing experience I hope to be fortunate enough to do again. In my two week stay, I went to Taiwan and Hong Kong, and the airport in Japan :) I was only able to manage to go shopping twice. Once, on Grandville Road, a trendy boutique-filled street. The other, at the Ladies Night Market, where you barter for your purchases. Both were great experiences if only I had more time to enjoy them...and buy things!! Here is a little story book of the things I got to see.

And I'm off...looking scared and nervous!
